What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file a website places in your browser to remember information between visits. Related mechanisms — local storage and session storage — do the same thing on your device without sending data back to a server.
What Alpha Image Premium stores
- Preferences (local storage): your chosen theme, last-used tool settings, and interface choices — never your images or any personally identifying information.
- Session cookie (optional): a temporary identifier used only to remember tab state during a single session; discarded when you close the tab.
What we deliberately do NOT use
- No third-party ad tracking cookies.
- No cross-site fingerprinting.
- No cookies that carry a personal identifier.
- No server-side upload or storage of any image you edit.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which tools and guides are popular. This data is anonymised, contains no personal identifiers, and is used solely to improve the product.
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser's privacy settings. Doing so will reset your saved preferences but will not affect your ability to use any tool on the site.
